    Frequently Asked Questions

There is NO fee for our online bill payment service.

Currently, our bill payment service sends payments either electronically, by transferring the payment directly to your payee, or by a bill payment check that is print on your behalf and sent to your payee. The funds are withdrawn from your draft account on the day the payment is scheduled.

When scheduling the process date for your bill payments, please keep in mind that the vendor may require a few days to process your payment. IRS Buffalo recommends that you schedule electronic payments at least 3 to 5 days prior to the due date and that you schedule check payments at least 5 to 7 days prior to the due date.

If you have a question regarding a bill payment item that has been processed or if a bill payment check has been cashed, please call 716-854-3714.

If the funds are not available in your draft account when a bill payment is presented for payment, the following will occur:
  • • If funds are available, funds will transfer from your share account.
  • • If you have an Overdraft Line of Credit (LOC) or variable LOC and funds are available, funds will transfer from your LOC.
  • • If funds are not available in your share nor LOC, we do offer Courtesy Pay. A fee is charged.
  • View Our Courtesy Pay Policy.
  • You will need an online bill pay account to start using QuickPay. If you don’t have an account yet, log in to your account at www.irsbflofcu.org and click the “Bill Payment” to access the enrollment form.
